Cut Flower Department

Our Cut Flower Department is set up similar to a popular flower market. Hundreds of flower varieties are on display and knowledgeable sales representatives are ready to assist you.   Take the time to shop and look around or call ahead to place an order.

This department consists of the Sales Manager, fresh flower buyer, sales representatives, packing coordinators and the inventory control team. Each day our cut flower team work together to provide superior service and quality flowers.

Our cut flower buyer concentrates on providing quality fresh flowers from around the world. Pittsburgh Cut Flower has developed strong relationships with farms in South America and California. Our direct daily correspondences with the growers provide excellent communication between the retail florist, the grower and Pittsburgh Cut Flower.

The Sales Representatives are our liaison between the retail flower shops and Pittsburgh Cut. Each representative works hard to build a rapport with our customers. Some of our sales representatives have over 25 years of experience in the floral industry.

The packing coordinators provide assistance to the sales representative by insuring proper packing of each floral order by carefully wrapping all delicate blooms to ensure every variety of flowers is protected for delivery.

The inventory control team checks in each incoming floral shipment. The team reports to the buyer if any product of inferior quality arrives. They follow the necessary processing procedures required for each type of floral classification. Attention is given to the water temperature, preservation and refrigeration needs.
